=STOMP=
The clan without a plan.
=STOMP= is first and foremost a social gaming clan and recognised the fact that many people play for pure fun, enjoyment of social gaming. Other play for the challenge and intensity of Wars. As a social gaming clan =STOMP= accepts the fact that real life commitments take priority over anything in the clan.
=STOMP= was established in 1999 and the longevity of the clan, we hope, can be attributed towards the relaxed social nature of the clan.

[DENNIS] Right from the beginning, the importance of accurately representing the scale of the ‘Mechs was evident. Depending on the world assets alone for size comparison was not enough; the ‘Mechs had to be able to stand alone and still be convincing in their scale. Adding a variety of smaller, ancillary objects achieved this goal as long as they were recognizable and therefore bases for comparison against the overall bulk. I.e. Ladder rungs, hatches, tie-down cleats etc. provided they were to the appropriate scale and appeared to be usable to a human. Another way was through the use of appropriate texture scale such as scratches, gouges, paint patterns and details too small to justify geometry.

MechWarrior Online might just be one of the most exciting titles to be announced in recent times. If you have ever played any version of the game or have ever enjoyed stomping around in the Battletech universe, you'll be happy to know that, yes, the new online game is actually being made. While the IP will soon turn 30 years old, it's still very popular. Some of us remember painting metal figures to place into our tiny lances, while others have fond memories of jumping and shooting, jumping and shooting, jumping and shooting.
Massively joined the press roundtable for the game this week and snagged some juicy information. We talked with Piranha Games' President Russ Bullock and Creative Director Bryan Ekman about how the development process is going, how their philosophies influence design, and how the game will actually play.

- Deliberate teamkilling or team vehicle destruction/damage again especially at the start of the round will result in a kick without warning.

- Verbal abuse or player harassment .
- Disruptive play.
- Asset theft while a teammate is repairing a vehicle.
- Using =STOMP= tags if you are not a clan member.
